Does your horse's hoof look anything like this. If so, don't be alarmed, it is quite common. Though this would be considered a severe central sulcus infection, it is easily treated with Clean Trax.

Don't believe for one minute that a topical application of any kind will treat this type of infection successfully. The key to a successful treatment is one that effectively kills the fungi causing spores, and does it without killing healthy tissue. Then, and only then can you use a topical to prevent re-infection and maintain a healthy environment.

Sole Mates™

Don't be fooled by imposters. It has come to our attention that there is a company in the UK taking trailer mats and skiving them to1 inch, and selling them as Sole Mates. Please be advised that these pads are not Sole Mates™ and are made of a generic foam that can exhibits hard spots and uneven density across its surface. It is also is made of a 7.5 lb density foam, verses our 6 lb. density foam pad. We have done extensive research to confirm that the 6 lb. density supports the Suspension Theory of Hoof Dynamics and the HPT Method. The 7.5 density has proven to be excessive for many horses. The true Sole Mates™ Therapeutic Hoof Pad is made from a Military Specification (Mil.Spec.) closed cell foam that is extruded to be very consistent across its entire surface, eliminating hard or soft spots that could slow progress. Clean Trax Soaking Boot

This reusable soaking boot is designed for use with Clean Trax. It is constructured of heavy duty vinyl with a reinforced bottom. Nylon straps at the top hold the boot on and provide a closed system to allow the Clean Trax to work in the most effective manner. Clean Trax will only work properly when used with a deep closed boot that holds the full gallon of solution. Don't make the mistake of trying to use it with a bucket or small fitted boot.
